I’ve Always Been a Maker
I have always loved creating. I have always loved writing, drawing, painting, decorating, making outfits, working with clay, projects, PowerPoint slideshows, scrap-booking. My favorite things to do are writing and drawing, however. When I was a little girl I drew pictures of girls with arms coming out of their head. When I was a preteen I drew… cholas. (Hey, I lived in South San Jose in the 90’s, what can I say?) When I was a teenager, I drew fantasy characters and anime. I would draw all the time. I drew more than 500 pictures in one summer (and yes, I took the time to count.) So yeah, as you see I enjoy creating.Continue reading “Creativity With Constraints”

What you’ll find
In this post, I am going to tell you all about how to make your schedule as a mom. It will be completely tailored to your life- something for moms who work outside and inside the home. You’ll also learn how to approach your schedule when life happens – you know the drill – your kids get sick, the dog throws up on every blanket you own, you have unexpected company, etc. You will take stock of all of your responsibilities but also take into account time for prayer and time to do things you enjoy. Why I unapologetic-ally love the 80’s
Anyone who knows me knows I love the 80’s. There’s just something about it that speaks to my soul. And I don’t care if you think I’m a weirdo or a dork. Listen to what you like, I don’t care, but I love 80’s music and movies. I want “Don’t You Forget About Me” played at my funeral, people, and if I had it my way I would have worn the ballroom dress from Labyrinth for my senior prom. I am always looking for ways to save time and save money. This recipe for pizza dough is super simple and contains items I already have so it is "free."
But why go through all the trouble you ask? Frozen pizza is pretty cheap and then there is the MESS.
There's a few reasons why. Firstly, I can save money. Second, it's nice to work with my hands. Thirdly, there is nothing like homemade bread, and lastly, togetherness. You see, when I bake, I try to do it with my kids.
(And my dog. She might just jump on a chair and try to take a bite out of the dough. )
To save time, I double the recipe to use for later or even better, surprise someone else with some awesome dough!
Here's how you make it:
